The Opera Graz Invites You to "SELBST GETANZT"* on Saturday, June 15th, 2019
The OPERA GRAZ offers something new for their audience – everyone who loves ballet may rehearse a short scene from the ballet performance “Die Jahreszeiten” (“The Seasons”) with ballet director Beate Vollack and ballet master Sascha Pieper in the opera´s ballet studio. Afterwards you will perform the short dance on stage and undergo the chance to see the opera from the other side: it will be a big enjoyment to watch the real performance later danced by professional dancers!
Saturday, JUNE 15th, 2019 start of “SELBST GETANZT”
14.45 o´clock: meeting place at the opera´s porter´s loge (under the so called Glasbrücke)
15:00 – 17:00 o´clock: rehearsing the scene “Hört, Hört das laute Getön” from “Die Jahreszeiten”/”The Seasons”
Break
17:30 – 18:30: performance in the original stage setting
19:30 o´clock: show begin (the original) “Die Jahreszeiten”/”The Seasons”
Bring you own leotard/sweat suit and drinks (water).
EVERYONE IS INVITED, BE IT PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER DANCED AS WELL AS HOBBY DANCERS (minimum age 16 years).
Tickets can be ordered online or bought at the theatre´s “Ticketzentrum“.
